Sunday School is for all ages at the Chillicothe First. We strive to provide a Christian Education with strong ties to the student’s personal growth in faith, and loyalty to our congregation and denomination. Each week students gather to study the word of the God, increase their personal faith, and pray and support each other.
Preschool classes are in the basement of the education wing in Lilypad Playhouse. Our preschool students learn bible stories thru art, dance, music and song. Preschool students do not rotate classrooms but enjoy a close relationship with our dedicated preschool teachers.
Our students in 1st to 5th grade now attend rotational Sunday School that we call Kidz Kingdom. This program transforms classroom spaces into kid friendly spaces using teaching methods with exciting multi- sensory workshops that encourages children to come back each week. The students learn one Bible story from 4 different perspectives while children rotate through the Art Room, Computer Lab, Drama/Music Room, and Game Room. The student’s learn in a hands on manner through this multiple intelligence approach which enhances the learning process.
Students 1st grade thru 6th grade will meet in the UPPER ROOM each Sunday Morning! The students will them move to a classroom with students their age to learn the Bible story. See our Kidz Kingdom page for the rotational schedule and current Bible Story/ Theme. Pre-school and Kindergarten will meet downstairs in the Lilypad playroom.
