Evening Faith Worship

Saturday 5:00 pm

Come As You Are

We invite you to this very informal worship time, which centers around personal prayer, favorite hymn siging, and  a thoughtful sermon.   This worship service allows persons to experience a caring Christian Community.  People who cannot attend Sunday Services find this a refreshing and convenient answer to their spiritual needs.

Good Morning Worship

Sunday 8:30 am

Worship for Early-Risers

This early morning service provides a welcoming, worshipful atmosphere, featuring hymns, prayer, liturgry, solo and ensemble singing and instrumental music to add its reverence.  Worshippers usually experience a friendly, accepting, and warm welcome.  As the morning light streams in the stained glass windows it is a beautiful time to worship. Our nursery is just outside the sanctuary.  Please sign in and ask for a pager from our nursery staff. As of January 2008,  at the 8:30 am worship service only we have a special worship service just for children Kindergarten to Third Grade called Children's Church.  The children stay through the children's time and leave for Children's Church in the Theater Room.  Please stay for coffee, snacks and fellowship after service.  Just ask us about our Sunday School program for children, youth and Adults which starts at 9:45 am. See our Sunday School Page for more details!

Celebrate Worship

Sunday 11:00 am

Worship in a traditional manner

Celebrate describes the overall mood of this service where Choir and Soloist render inspiring and diverse music. Worship is a way for us to praise God and experience his Holy Spirit. Sunday services refresh our spirits and help us to serve Jesus Christ through the week.  Families appreciate the opportunity for children to participate in the worship experience.  Come early for Coffee and meet friends or attend one of your Sunday School Classes  at 9:45 am which ends 15 minutes before 11:00 am worship begins.

Communion

We celebrate Holy Communion on the first weekend of each month at all services. We have an open table inviting all who love our Lord to partake. We serve communion in three different ways; at the altar rail, seated, or by intinction. When we serve at the altar rail or by intinction the ushers will direct you.

Throughout the year we celebrate special services appropriate to the liturgical season. (Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and special Christmas services.) We also participate with other churches in the community for ecumenical services like Thanksgiving and Good Friday.

Childcare is avaliable on Sunday mornings in our Nursery located just outside the church santuary.

Copies of the Worship Service on CD or cassette tape or an MP3 file can be requested  from the Church Office at 309-274-5458.
